It's Easy Being Green!

The flowers themselves were pretty, but unfortunately, the arrangement that was delivered looked significantly different from the arrangement I ordered. The advertised arrangement featured a soft, full mix of flowers, including greenery, yellow daisy-like flowers, spray roses, pink roses, and white hydrangeas. What was delivered was primarily large white hydrangeas and large pink roses, with none of the greenery or other flowers shown in the advertised arrangement. I had actually contacted the shop after they sent me a photo of the arrangement before delivery. I specifically asked that greenery be added, and I was assured that it would be. Unfortunately, the final arrangement still had no greenery and did not closely resemble the arrangement I had selected from the website. What was especially disappointing was how my concerns were handled. When I texted my concerns to the number the photo had been sent from, I received a call telling me not to contact that number again. I found the response to my concerns to be unnecessarily dismissive and rude. I was simply trying to communicate that the arrangement did not look like what I had ordered and that I had specifically requested greenery. When I expressed my concerns, the first solution Gigi offered was to pick up the flowers from my friend’s home rather than offering a partial refund or another way to make the situation right. I ultimately had to ask whether they would consider a partial refund. They later contacted me and provided a $25 refund, which I appreciated, but I had paid approximately $100 for an arrangement I expected to look substantially like what I had ordered. I understand that floral arrangements can vary somewhat based on flower availability, but in this case, the overall arrangement was significantly different from the advertised design, even after I specifically requested that greenery be added. I was sending these flowers to a friend going through an extremely difficult time, so it was especially important to me that the arrangement be as close as possible to what I had ordered. While the flowers delivered were pretty, I was disappointed by the significant difference between the advertised arrangement and what was actually delivered, as well as by the dismissive and rude way my concerns were initially handled. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not order from this flower shop again.
